Hashtag fever

It’s a great pleasure to have prominent actors of EU politics communicating on Twitter, among other, the president of the European Parliament: Jerzy Buzek is tweeting @JerzyBuzek. But, Mr Buzek tweet line is suffering, from time to time, of a terrible affliction : the hashtag fever. Just have a look at some of Mr Buzek tweets:

Hopefully, not all J. Buzek’s tweets are like this. But I have to regret that some are so overwhelmed by hashtags. Yes, putting hastags helps getting your tweet distributed around ; but too much of them is just diluting the main point of the tweet. For example, there is virtually no links between #Iran and #community.

So, be careful: Too much hashtags, kills the hashtags
