The Euro soliloquy

Euro or not euro, that is the question.

Whether ’tis nobler in the economy to suffer

the slings an arrows of outrageous austerity,

Or to take arms against a see of bankers,

And by opposing, beat them. To default, to bail out,

No more – and by a bailout to say we end

The downgrading and the thousand financial crisis

That markets are source of: ’tis a consummation

Devoutly to be wished. To default, to bail out;

To bail out per chance to federalize – ay, there’s the rub

For in that federation what union may come,

When we have pool all the euro debts

Must give us pause. –
