Simple solution for Greece : shutdownPosted: September 19, 2011
While the rest of the eurozone member are stalling and delaying the financial help to Greece, who needs it more than ever, there might be one dramatic option for the Greek government : shutdown.
A total stop of all official programs and spendings: no school, no postal service, and mandatory furlough days for all government workers, … – except for essential services.
The country will be brought to an halt with all the disastrous consequences that may have, but that will help Greece save on cash.
Or the partner countries can put their act together and do something constructive, whichever is the easiest.
